David Anthony Burke, 21 — the recording artist known as d4vd — faced a July 2026 preliminary hearing in Los Angeles on capital murder charges. Prosecutors say he stabbed 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez to stop her from revealing their sexual relationship. Burke has pleaded not guilty and has been held without bail since April 2026.
