Hipkins won't rule out NZ First coalition despite calling Jones unfit for ministry

Labour leader Chris Hipkins says he would have sacked NZ First deputy Shane Jones as a minister over his "knee pads" comments. He ruled NZ First out before the 2023 election and told RNZ that remained "highly unlikely," but cited "different permutations now." NZ First has already ruled out working with Labour.
