Badenoch repeats 'airy-fairy' jibe at Burnham after two years

The BBC reported on 20 July 2026 that Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch called Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham's plans "airy-fairy stuff." She first used the same "airy fairy" and "people pleaser" language in March 2024, returning to identical framing more than two years later.
