Canva announces changes affecting 22 percent of its staff

Canva is making changes affecting 1,271 people, 22 percent of its staff, co-founder and CEO Melanie Perkins announced, according to The Verge. Departing employees will receive at least six months of salary and twelve months of healthcare coverage. The plan merges Product, Growth and Platform teams (shared infrastructure) and makes Sydney the primary home for more product teams.
