Canva offers departing staff six months' pay and US$10,000 start-up grants

Canva is offering departing staff in its restructure at least six months' salary, 12 more months of healthcare where that benefit applies, and the right to keep their laptops. Leavers can also apply for US$10,000 (A$14,000) grants to start their own ventures. CEO Melanie Perkins announced the restructure, affecting 1,271 people, in a staff email on Wednesday.
