Rivian CEO Says Self-Driving Will Enable Radically Different Designs

Rivian founder and CEO RJ Scaringe said at TechCrunch Disrupt that self-driving capability, or autonomy, will allow very different designs from its current rugged SUVs and trucks. Looking past its upcoming R2 and R3 models, he said personally owned self-driving vehicles create new options for vehicle shape and layout.
