Rivian founder and CEO RJ Scaringe said at TechCrunch Disrupt that autonomy will allow radically different vehicles than the outdoorsy SUVs and trucks it makes now. Thinking beyond R2 and R3, form factors for a personally-owned autonomous vehicle open design opportunities.
