Peters says PM, health minister not told before UN pandemic vote

Winston Peters told RNZ Morning Report he did not tell the PM or Health Minister in the week New Zealand abstained, or did not vote, on the UN pandemic declaration. He said he told Simeon Brown weeks earlier. RNZ reported New Zealand was one of two abstaining. The ministry said it backed the aim but wanted control of health decisions.
