Mind Robotics named former Ford EV chief Doug Field president on October 13, 2026 at Disrupt 2026. He will run day-to-day product, engineering and operations. The Rivian spinout builds foundation-model robots — general-purpose AI systems trained for factory work — with Rivian as first customer. Field previously led Apple's Project Titan and oversaw Tesla Model 3 development.
