Niobia builds AI chatbot to explain battery and chip defects

Niobia, a San Francisco startup and Startup Battlefield finalist at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, built AI software that spots manufacturing defects in batteries and chips. Engineers can then ask its chatbot — a conversational question-and-answer tool — what likely caused the flaw.
