U.S. Vows Full Cooperation in Okinawa Marine Murder Case

Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu on Oct. 10 the U.S. will fully cooperate with Japan's investigation. Lance Cpl. Devin Jacob Ballard, 20, a junior enlisted Marine, was arrested Oct. 4 on suspicion of robbing and murdering Anna Yagi, 39, in Naha. He denies it. Okinawa hosts most of 18,000 U.S. Marines in Japan.
