Matthew Lillard thought Scream was lame while filming

Matthew Lillard told a New York Comic Con panel he thought the original Scream was "This movie's lame. Nobody's gonna see it" while filming, according to Variety. Lillard, who played Stuart "Stu" Macher in the 1996 film, said "nobody could have possibly ever imagined" what followed, according to Variety.
