Erie suspect found dead after hours-long standoff

Police say nine people died in the Oct. 9 shooting in Erie, Pennsylvania, including two children and the suspected shooter. Officers answering reports of gunfire found two women dead outside a Perry Street home. The suspect then barricaded himself — shut himself inside — for hours before being found dead of an apparent self-inflicted wound.
