Opposition Leader Angus Taylor was booed and heckled at CPAC Brisbane — the conservative conference — on 10 October 2026. He said net overseas migration, arrivals minus departures, would lift from 100,000 to 160,000 under the Coalition. Apologising for past rises while selling a bigger number. Tough crowd.
