Charles Sturt only fills 40% of overseas student limit

Charles Sturt University filled only 40% of its 2026 limit for overseas students, Department of Education figures out 10 October 2026 show. That's 35% down on last year and just a fifth of pre-COVID numbers. The uni says it's $35 million short and is cutting jobs and restructuring. No spin survives those numbers.
