Erie gunman died by apparent suicide after hours-long standoff

The suspected shooter in the Oct. 9 Erie, Pennsylvania, shooting barricaded himself in a Perry Street home during an hours-long standoff and was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted wound. Police responding to shots fired found two women dead outside. Nine died in total, including two children and the suspect, police said.
