Witnesses report Eritrean soldiers crossing into northern Ethiopia

At least two witnesses told Reuters they saw dozens of Eritrean soldiers in two trucks pass through Adigrat, 25km south of Eritrea's border, on October 7, 2026, identifying off-white camouflage uniforms. Reuters could not independently verify the claims. Eritrea's information minister did not deny a crossing.
