Witnesses report Eritrean soldiers inside northern Ethiopia

At least two witnesses told Reuters they saw dozens of Eritrean soldiers drive through Adigrat, 25km south of the Eritrean border, in two trucks on October 7, 2026. They cited off-white camouflage uniforms. Reuters could not independently verify the accounts. Eritrea's information minister did not deny a crossing.
