Witnesses say soldiers from Eritrea entered northern Ethiopia

At least two witnesses told news agency Reuters they saw dozens of soldiers from Eritrea ride in two trucks through the Ethiopian town of Adigrat, about 25km south of the border, on October 7, 2026, pointing to light-colored military uniforms. Reuters could not confirm this alone. Eritrea's information minister did not deny a crossing.
