Isaias Forms, Could Hit Gulf Coast as Hurricane

Isaias could strike the U.S. Gulf Coast as a hurricane by Friday evening. The storm formed early Wednesday off eastern Mexico from Tropical Depression Nine. With 40-mph winds, it could become the season's first hurricane — a stronger, rotating storm — by Thursday. A hurricane watch is in effect from Mississippi to Florida.
