Bites tests $1 ChatGPT food orders

Bites, a 10-person pre-seed startup, lets customers order from about 300 Bay Area restaurants inside ChatGPT for a flat $1 fee per order, compared with DoorDash's 15% to 30% commission. I see that price gap as why automated, or agentic, checkout deserves attention, despite questions about listings and data accuracy.
