Palestinian Farmer, 44, Killed in Olive-Harvest Attack Near Nablus

A 44-year-old Palestinian farmer, Ali Hassan Yasser al-Bazzari, was killed Oct. 7 while harvesting olives near Burqa, west of Nablus, Palestinian officials said. They blamed Israeli settlers acting under army protection; 16 others were wounded. It follows months of West Bank violence, with Reuters reporting over 80 Palestinians killed by soldiers and settlers since January 2026.
