Paramount Plans Single Service Combining HBO Max and Paramount Plus

Paramount will combine HBO Max and Paramount Plus into one streaming service following its $110 billion acquisition — the purchase — of Warner Bros. Discovery. The combined company will be called Skydance. The merger will happen gradually over time, according to details released Oct. 6, 2026.
