Sony reportedly to revive legacy PlayStation series with small outside studios

Sony reportedly plans to revive dormant PlayStation franchises with small external developers, according to Eurogamer. A new Ape Escape at Evening Star, the independent studio behind Penny's Big Breakaway, is said to be first. Journalist Jeff Gerstmann, whose claim VGC corroborated, said release is not close.
