Elite Controller 3 Leak Points to Longer-Lasting Sticks

Leaked Xbox Design Lab backend data, reported Oct. 6, 2026 by Reddit user u/esketitethan, points to an unreleased Elite Controller 3 codenamed Edessa. Configuration records list Hall-effect and TMR sticks — magnetic designs that resist wear — plus low-friction and silent variants. The prior Elite used potentiometer sticks prone to drift.
