Leak Points to Longer-Lasting Elite Controller Sticks

Leaked Xbox Design Lab backend data, reported Oct. 6, 2026 by Reddit user u/esketitethan, points to an unreleased Elite Controller 3 codenamed Edessa. Configuration files list Hall-effect and TMR thumbsticks that use magnets, like fridge magnets, to prevent drift, plus smoother and quieter types. The old Elite used parts that wore out.
