Luxon says $8.5b gap in Labour pay equity plan
National leader Christopher Luxon says there is 'a real hole' in Labour's fiscal plan, its outline for paying for promises. He says $8.5 billion of its pay equity pledge is unfunded against Treasury's estimate of about $11 billion to restore the old system. Labour says its plan is 'fully costed and fully funded', with $10.5 billion in spending allowances unallocated.
