British Museum apologises for Bayeux Tapestry queues, offers refunds

The British Museum in London has apologised after its Bayeux Tapestry exhibition drew complaints of long waits and overcrowding, Artnet reported on 5 October. The museum said visitors unable to enter the ticketed show will receive refunds and priority booking slots, the BBC reported on 4 October. It announced changes to ease queues.
