Luxon claims $8.5b hole in Labour fiscal plan over pay equity

National leader Christopher Luxon says there is "a real hole" in Labour's fiscal plan, claiming $8.5 billion of its pay equity pledge is unfunded against Treasury's figure of around $11 billion to restore the old regime. Labour says its plan is "fully costed and fully funded", with $10.5 billion of operating allowances unallocated.
