St. Lucie County audit turns up 11 mystery plate-reading cameras

St. Lucie County found 14 unpermitted license-plate reader cameras in public road areas, on top of 52 approved Flock units. The Sheriff's Office claimed three, leaving 11 with no identified owner. The county has posted removal orders and plans to cover the remaining cameras so they cannot record plates.
