
NZ accused of breaking climate promise in EU trade deal
New Zealand faces a complaint it broke climate promises in its free trade deal with the European Union, RNZ reported. ClientEarth chief executive Laura Clarke told Morning Report the case tests whether trade deals have force. She said both sides promised not to lower environmental rules to win trade or investment.
