Surface Pro 2024 Gets OLED Screen and Switches to ARM Processors
Microsoft's new Surface Pro 11th Edition now includes an optional OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, addressing long-standing complaints about its screen quality compared to other high-end tablets and laptops. OLED panels produce darker blacks and sharper contrast than the previous LCD screens, and the faster refresh rate makes scrolling feel smoother. In another major shift, this model only comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors—a chip design based on ARM architecture rather than Intel's traditional x86 design. This move reflects Microsoft's focus on AI features that run directly on the device rather than relying solely on cloud servers.
