Activision to run Halo with new separate team as Halo Studios shrinks

Activision will run Halo going forward with a new, purpose-built team separate from Call of Duty development and plans. Halo Studios will shrink to a small team supporting existing games, Video Games Chronicle reported on 30 September 2026.
