Plan to Save Poundland Shops and Jobs

11,000 jobs at 600 Poundland shops could be saved. Boss Barry Williams and former boss Andy Bond are in late-stage talks to buy the chain for £30m from owner Gordon Brothers. Gordon Brothers hired helper firm Alvarez & Marsal to run the sale. Talks with a mystery money supporter continue.
