Switzerland beat Scotland 3-0 at Hampden Park in the Nations League on 29 September, spoiling Sebastien Pocognoli's home debut as head coach. Ricardo Rodriguez opened the scoring with a free-kick past Angus Gunn, before Nico Elvedi and Zeki Amdouni struck after the break. Pocognoli said he hopes to "remember this night differently later on".
