Burnham open to triple-lock review to fund care service

Andy Burnham will say at Labour's 29 September conference he is open to reviewing the pensions triple lock to help pay for a national care service, government sources said. The lock raises the state pension by the highest of inflation, wage growth, or 2.5%. He will not pledge to scrap it.
