Burnham may rethink pension promise to pay for care

Andy Burnham will say at Labour's 29 September conference he would consider changing the pension triple lock to help pay for a national care service, government sources said. That rule raises pensions each year by whichever is highest: prices, wages, or 2.5%. He will not promise to end it.
