Goodman drops $1.2bn Lane Cove datacentre proposal

Goodman Group has withdrawn its $1.2bn Project Mars datacentre plan for Lane Cove in Sydney's north. The three-storey, 90-megawatt (MW) proposal at 12 Mars Road, Lane Cove West, was removed from the NSW planning portal, reported 28 September 2026. Focus now shifts to where Sydney can place its next large datacentres.
