Goodman drops $1.2bn plan for big Sydney internet building

Goodman Group dropped its $1.2bn Project Mars plan for a big internet computer building in Lane Cove, in Sydney's north. The three-storey site at 12 Mars Road, Lane Cove West, using lots of power (90MW), was taken off the NSW planning website, reported 28 September 2026. Attention now turns to where Sydney can build such sites next.
