Tauranga council boss Marty Grenfell resigns

Tauranga City Council chief executive Marty Grenfell has resigned, Mayor Mahé Drysdale said. His last day is Friday. The council will appoint an interim — or temporary — chief executive while it recruits a permanent replacement. Drysdale thanked Grenfell for eight years of public service in Tauranga.
