Goodman withdraws $1.2bn Lane Cove datacentre proposal

Goodman Group withdrew its $1.2bn Project Mars datacentre proposal for Lane Cove in Sydney's north. Plans for the three-storey, 90MW facility at 12 Mars Road, Lane Cove West, were removed from the NSW planning portal, reported 28 September 2026. The exit will sharpen attention on where Sydney's next large datacentres can be sited.
