Lightspeed Seeks $250M for Early AI Startups in India

Lightspeed is raising $250 million for Lightspeed India Partners V, an early-stage fund for AI startups in India and Southeast Asia. Noted in an April filing, it is half its $500 million 2022 fund. It plans to start investing within two months and invest the money over about 2.5 years.
