Revolut trials face-scan payments in London cafes

Revolut is testing Pay with Smile, which it calls the UK's first in-store facial-recognition payment, at Kiss the Hippo cafes in Bloomsbury, Chelsea and Soho until September 26. It runs on Revolut Register POS, its till software, and identifies enrolled customers by matching them to a prior selfie check.
