Revolut pilots facial-recognition payments in London cafes

Revolut is piloting Pay with Smile, in-store facial-recognition checkout it describes as the UK's first, at Kiss the Hippo cafes in Bloomsbury, Chelsea and Soho through September 26. The system runs on Revolut Register POS and matches enrolled customers via selfie-based verification.
