Public service chiefs push to ban social media clips of parliamentary hearings

The Secretaries Board, led by PM&C head Steven Kennedy, wants to ban editing and sharing parliamentary hearing footage on social media, saying clips expose public servants to ridicule and abuse. They'd prefer full footage and transcripts online with comments switched off. The Albanese government hasn't responded yet.
