Microsoft caps Xbox Game Pass cloud streaming hours from November

Microsoft will limit Xbox Game Pass cloud streaming to monthly hour caps from November, per a September 3, 2026 Xbox Wire announcement. Ultimate gets 15 hours, Premium 10, Essential 5. Microsoft estimates 4% of subscribers are affected. Extra hours will be purchasable; pricing was not announced. It follows October 2025's Ultimate price rise to US$29.99/month.
