Racer Emelia Hartford develops, co-writes and stars in 'Streets' for ESX Entertainment and Warner Bros.' CrewHQ

Pikes Peak record-holder Emelia Hartford is developing, co-writing, producing and starring in "Streets," set up with Ali Afshar's ESX Entertainment and Warner Bros.' CrewHQ. The film transposes the 1939 disappearance of Jean Bugatti's $100 million-plus Type 57S Atlantic into an East LA street-racing plot. Shaun Paul Piccinino directs. Hartford produces via her new banner, Running Lean Productions. Shooting wraps late September 2026 on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank. (Deadline, 3 September 2026)
