'The Odyssey' Imax 70mm run extended through end of September

Imax 70mm screenings of Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" have been extended through the end of September, stretching the format's run into an 11th week, The Hollywood Reporter reported on September 3. The 70mm film format alone has grossed $66 million worldwide at a $1.6 million per-screen average. The film has earned $457 million across all Imax screens, the most of any Imax release.
