CD Projekt says The Witcher 4 will be made 'predominantly using people,' not AI

CD Projekt joint-CEO Michał Nowakowski told investors the studio is "predominantly using people" to make games, including The Witcher 4, slated for release in 2028. He called AI "a tool like many others" but said building "very complex games" with it "would not be the right or ethical path to follow." CD Projekt also cited unresolved IP ownership questions around generative AI.
