'Once Upon a Time in Harlem' lands rare five-festival sweep ahead of Neon's October opening

Neon's documentary "Once Upon a Time in Harlem" is reported to be the only film this year programmed at Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, the New York Film Festival and Telluride — a clean sweep of the five most prestigious festivals on the circuit, per Deadline (3 September 2026). The film opens theatrically at Film Forum in New York on 16 October 2026.
